Moons
There are six moons, each named after an inner plane. The moons each have their own cycle, and as such, they only ever line up as six new moons every 1302 years, and never are they all full at the same time.
- Brona: A 30-day cycle represents the plane of fire. It is red-gold, with a flickering halo.
- Gaian: A 32-day cycle represents the plane of earth—a deep green-gray, textured like stone.
- Lirune: A 28-day cycle represents the water plane. It is blue-white, haloed in mist.
- Lumiel: A 35-day cycle represents the plane of heaven or spirit. It is white gold, surrounded by a star-dust field.
- Sylphae: A 26-day cycle represents the plane of air. It is pale silver and shifting in size.
- Umbraen: A 33-day cycle represents the plane of hell or demons. It is black violet, visible only as a disc of void.
Dark Night Sky Dates
When all six moons are new, it is called a Dark Night Sky. These are the dates of the past and next cycles, days that everyone fears the Bound will put machinations in motion.
- Taldrin’s Hearth 1st, 1 GW
- Marron’s Spur 2nd, 1277 WA
- Overn’s Path 3rd, 151 SL (Next occurrence)
Full Moons Note
Due to Lumiel and Umbraen being an odd cycle of days and the rest of the moons being an even cycle of days, there is never a time when all six moons are full in the sky. The most you can get is four.
