Planes

There are the planes on the mortal side of the Divine Wall and on the deity side of the Divine Wall.

Inner Planes

Xethos is pictured as a blue-green sphere with the known lands shown on the map. From the world, three axes spread out, bisecting the sphere. These are two horizontal and one vertical; from these lines, the inner planes are mapped out. Across from each other on one of the horizontal axes are the elemental planes of Water and Air. The other horizontal axis is home to the elemental planes of Earth and Fire. The vertical axis is where Heaven, located above the sphere, and Hell, located below, are to be found. The religion of the known lands says that a soul that is righteous and pure will go to Heaven, and all others must rot in Hell, where demons torment them.

It is written in verse that the planes are laid out as they are, as they continually feed on each other.

Water douses Fire,
Fire consumes Air,
Air erodes Earth,
Earth constricts Water,
Heaven crowns the circle,
Hell roots it below.

Outer Planes

This is the realm that the minor deities call home; they get to live out their immortal lives behind the Divine Wall, while the Watchers and Bound are sealed in said wall. The minor deities have set up shrines to talk to their followers; not that many talked toward the end of the Wall Age, but again, the shrines are busy in the Shattered Lands Age.
