Elyra, Lady of Life

She is the Dawnmother, the finder of the Cosmic Clay that built the world and its people. She is known for the gifts of fertility, renewal, and the spark of birth. Worshippers include midwives, farmers, and hopeful lovers.

Holy Day

At dawn on Elyra's Dawn, 1st of each year, people will wake early and stand where they can see the sunrise. Here they stand watching every ray of light break through the darkness until the sun is fully on the horizon. Nobody says a thing, as they are all in silent contemplation of the day and the life they have, thanks to the Dawnmother.
