Deyra, Lady of Balance.

Her title is "Scales Unmoved" because she is always in balance. Her symbols are simply a system of scales and bestow the gifts of justice, fairness, and equilibrium. There is a folk tradition that puts a stone on a scale during trials. She is aloof, so she courts no one. And it’s even rumored to be true that she admires Kaelor, Lord of Memory. She envies Neryth, Lady of Fortune, for good luck upsets the balance, tilting the scales arbitrarily. Deyra is seen as indifferent during famines, allowing Selvia, Lady of Grain, to tip the scales unfairly.

Holy Day

Deyra’s holy day is a day of restraint, one that symbolizes equilibrium in one’s life. Each person eats a measured breakfast of bread and fruit, then fasts from sunrise till nightfall, at which point they have another measured meal of vegetables and a slice of salted meat. In the course of the day, they reaffirm any vows they’ve made (both personal and public), particularly those they have broken. Travelers always walk only from sunrise to sunset, showing restraint even if the road is safe.
