Thalos, Lord of Dreams

He’s called the Moonlit Veil, crafter of dreams and nightmares. It symbolizes a crescent moon over a closed eye. He allows the gift of rest, visions, and prophetic dreams. His worshippers are mystics, weary travelers, and dreamers. Folk rites done in his name are to put a silver coin under one's pillow for true dreams. He courts Keryn, Lady of Blossoms, in some myths, where blossoms appear in dreams before blooming in the world. It is Isyra, Lady of Purity, that he envies because she guards the mind against corruption, while he delights in weaving illusions. Some say Thalos once whispered in Veyra, Lady of Disease’s dreams, and was nearly lost to her.

Holy Day

Thalos’s day is one of inward reflection, not community. When everyone goes to bed, they open the windows and open the drapes. Then, lying down, they ask one question aloud that they want insight into. There are no church bells in the morning, and people like to get up gently and perhaps even remember the answer.
